The price of electricity goes down. Today, Wednesday, October 11, the cost of electricity in the wholesale market (pool) decreases slightly and remains above the barrier of 100 euros / MWh. The price of electricity drops today
The price of electricity today decreases to 123.59 euros per megawatt hour (MWh), according to the Iberian Energy Market Operator (OMIE), which represents an increase of 1.48% compared to the previous day. (125.39 euros / MWh.). It so happens that the cost of electricity in October has so far registered an average cost of 109 euros per megawatt hour, compared to 127.21 euros in the same month of 2022.
