The fire fighters under the command of Rabbi Reshef Eitan Ripa arrived at the scene in large forces and under heavy smoke and high heat began to rescue many neighbors, including children, ten in total, thereby saving their lives.

The commander of the Haifa station, Tafser Mishna Itzik Suisa, arrived at the scene, currently teams are continuing to scan and rescue trapped people.

Following the initial report of a fire on HaNegev Street in Haifa, firefighters have so far rescued three children and three adults who have been taken to medical care and their condition will be reported later.

At 9:08 p.m., a report was received at MDA’s 101 hotline in the Carmel region about a fire in an apartment in a 6-story residential building on Hanegev Street in Haifa.
MDA medics and paramedics provide medical treatment on the spot to about 10 victims with varying degrees of injury who were rescued from the building by the fire fighters suffering from smoke inhalation. Update later.
