Tofazzal Hossain, a reporter of Special Branch of Police (SB) was killed in a road accident in Bakshibazar of the capital.

On Friday (March 29) around 5:30 pm, he was rescued and taken to Dhaka Medical, where the doctor on duty declared him dead.

Pedestrian Mushfiqur, who brought Tofazzal Hossain to the hospital, said that a bus carrying the address lost control and collided with an electric pole at Bakshibazar junction. He was sitting in the back seat of the bus. Later he was seriously injured in the shock. After that, he was brought to the emergency department of Dhaka Medical in an injured condition and the doctor on duty declared him dead after the examination.

He also said that by looking at the ID card with him, it is known that he was working as a reporter of the police SB. His father’s name is Abdul Baten. I cannot say where he was going.

Inspector Bachchu Mia, in-charge of police camp of Dhamek Hospital, said that the SB member inside the bus was seriously injured when a bus carrying an address lost control and collided with an electric pole in Bakshibazar area of ​​Chowkbazar police station. Later, when he was brought to the emergency department of Dhaka Medical, the doctor declared him dead. We have reported the matter to our authorities.
