SBU detained the commander of the 10th Naval Aviation Brigade of the Naval Forces of Ukraine for espionage

The Ukrainian Security Service has detained the commander of the 10th Naval Aviation Brigade of the Naval Forces of Ukraine, Colonel Ilya Oleinik, on suspicion of espionage for Russia.

According to the SBU, the detainee is “a secret carrier with the highest security clearance, has Russian citizenship and unauthorized accumulation of secret military documents.”

The brigade, the base of which is the Kulbakino airfield near Nikolaev, unites the entire aviation of the Naval Forces of Ukraine, and this year the Bayraktar TB2 strike UAVs began to enter its armament.
