Thunder Surprisingly Lose at Home
In Oklahoma City, the Thunder were upset by the Indiana Pacers, 114-117. Despite a stellar showing from reigning NBA Most Valuable Player Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, who scored 47 points – his second-highest total of the season – OKC couldn’t secure a victory. The Pacers, led by Tyrese Haliburton’s 26 points and a strong team shooting performance, outplayed the Thunder in the final minutes. The game was close throughout, with multiple lead changes, but Indiana ultimately prevailed.
German professional Isaiah Hartenstein remained sidelined due to injury during the game.
Despite the unexpected loss, the thunder remain firmly in control of the Western Conference with a record of 37 wins and 9 losses. Their lead over the San Antonio Spurs in second place is more than five games.
