This year’s Women’s Twenty20 World Cup will be held in Bangladesh. The grouping and schedule of this event was announced on Sunday (May 5). 10 teams will be divided into two groups. Australia, India, Pakistan and New Zealand are in Group ‘A’ with Sri Lanka.
This season will start on October 3. The game will be played in Dhaka and Sylhet. Bangladesh will start the World Cup campaign with a match against Scotland on the opening day of the World Cup in Mirpur on October 3. The match will start at 7 pm. England and South Africa will meet in the first match in Mirpur at 3 pm that day.
The two group matches will be played at two different venues. All matches of ‘A’ group will be played in Sylhet. All matches of ‘B’ group will be played in Mirpur. At the same time, there will be two semi-finals in two venues. Then the final on October 20 at Mirpur Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium.
