With this win, the Aztecs have now secured four consecutive victories, achieving their best start as the 2021 team began the season with seven straight wins en route to a 12-2 finish. Under second-year head coach Sean lewis, SDSU has already surpassed their total win count from last season and is just one victory away from becoming bowl-eligible for the first time since 2022.
