jpnn.comJAKARTA – Secretary of the Gerindra DKI Jakarta Regional Leadership Council (DPD) Rani Mauliani responded to the reduction in her party’s seats in the DKI DPRD in the 2024-2029 period.
Gerindra is known to have only won 14 of the previous 19 seats in the DKI Jakarta DPRD in the 2019-2024 period.
“Gerindra lost 5 seats down. “It’s okay, who do you want to blame,” said Rani at the DKI DPRD building, Central Jakarta, Tuesday (19/3).
According to him, his party is focused on winning Prabowo Subianto in the 2024 presidential election.
“Yesterday we focused on the presidential election, so hopefully the rise and fall of politics is normal, this is a lesson for Gerindra to be more enthusiastic,” he said.
Apart from focusing on winning Prabowo, the Deputy Chair of the DKI Jakarta DPRD argued that the campaign time was short.
Moreover, the Gerindra DPD campaign in Jakarta was used to promote Prabowo, who was running for the third time.
“Thank God, we were able to lead Mr. Prabowo to win in DKI Jakarta, even though he won narrowly,” he said.
