Sebastián Moss, Fourth Colombian-Heritage Player, to Compete at Astara Golf Championship

A growing contingent of golfers with Colombian ties will be on display next week at the korn Ferry Tour tournament held at the Country Club of Bogotá. Sebastián Moss has been announced as the fourth player of Colombian descent set to participate in the Astara Golf Championship, February 5-8.
Moss, born in Pearland, Texas, carries Colombian heritage through his mother, marking a significant moment as it will be his first time competing in Colombia as a professional.He turned professional last year and has already gained experience on both the Korn Ferry Tour and the PGA TOUR.
Early Career and Professional Debut
The young golfer demonstrated considerable talent during his collegiate career at the University of Louisville, securing multiple titles and earning an invitation to the prestigious Arnold Palmer Cup. His transition to the professional circuit in 2025 saw him compete in eight Korn Ferry Tour events, successfully making the cut at the price Cutter Charity Championship. He also made an appearance on the PGA TOUR, finishing tied for 27th at the Bank of Utah Championship with a score of -11.
Joining a Strong Colombian Contingent
Moss will be joining fellow competitors Daniel Faccini, Joaquín Cabrera, Ricardo Celia, and Esteban Jaramillo in vying for victory. The tournament will be played across the Fundadores and Pacos & Fabios courses in the Bogotá countryside.
