Second place to Anastasia Gurbanko in the opening of the ISL playoffs

Anastasia Gurbanko and the Los Angeles Crant team opened their appearances tonight (Saturday) in the ISL International Swimming League playoffs. The Israeli swimmer jumped into the water three times, and even finished in second place in the 200 individual medley with 2: 07.27 minutes, second only to Sydney Picard of the Canadian team London Rover.

In another personal event, Gorbanko finished in fourth place in the 200-meter breaststroke with 2: 21.69. Finally, the 18-year-old swimmer from Maccabi Kiryat Bialik was part of LA’s mission quartet for the 4×100 mixed, where she swam in the breaststroke style 1: 06.11 minutes on the way to her team’s third place.

At the end of the first day of competition of the meeting, Los Angeles Carnet is ranked second, behind London and slightly ahead of the Toronto Titans. The team is led by the senior advisor of the Swimming Association, David Marsh, and its team includes Israeli coach Jonathan Kopalev and physical abilities coach Hila Reuveni.
