In Madhya Pradesh, a school student was electrocuted while trying to take a selfie on a train.
Some school children arrived at a railway station in Madhya Pradesh’s Chattarpur district this morning. One of them, Suhail Mansoori (16), suddenly climbed on the locomotive that was standing there.
Despite warnings from those present, he did not listen and climbed on the engine and tried to take a selfie. He then threw his hand on the high-voltage power line that was going over the top of the train. Suhail was electrocuted and died on the spot.
Some of the youths there were enraged by the death of the boy and looted the room of the railway station officer. Later, the railway police came there and made them disperse.
As the death toll of young people in the country due to selfie craze continues to rise, this incident is a re-emergence of the danger of selfies.
