Sensex, Nifty decline in stock markets

The Bombay Stock Exchange benchmark Sensex fell sharply on Monday, the first day of the week for the National Stock Exchange index Nifty.

The Bombay Stock Exchange benchmark Sensex lost 11 70 points. In the end it stood at 58 465 points.

Today’s loss in the Sensex on a percentage basis is 1.96.

The National Stock Exchange index Nifty lost 348. 25 points today. It eventually stood at 17 416 points.

The Nifty today also lost 1.96 percent.

The Sensex high is 62,245 points.

The Sensex has lost 3700 points since then.

All other sectors except metals ended with losses on the Mumbai Stock Exchange.

Gold prices rise slightly

Both gold and silver in the international market are selling at the old prices today where prices have risen.

But in Delhi, the price of gold is 17 rupees and the price of 10 grams of gold is 47 869.

Significantly, gold traded at 47,852 in the previous session.

Silver rose by Rs 444 to Rs 64690 per kg from Rs 64246.

The Indian rupee lost 10 paise against the US dollar.

The exchange rate of the Indian rupee against the dollar today is 74.40.
