So we will work. In addition, there is the semi-final stage of the Cup draw, meaning we will fight for the title. These circumstances influenced my decision.
– As far as you are aware, you have already managed to work with the team.
– Yes, a selection meeting was held in Moscow. Two matches were held, we beat “Lokomotiv 2” with a score of 10:1 and “Arsenal” of Tula with a score of 2:1. It can be said that a new team is being formed. Only the goalkeeper and 4 players will remain from the old team.
– What is the level of the Armenian championship?
– I learned about it from Khoren Hovhannisyan, the president of “Mika”, when he arrived in Moscow for negotiations. The level of local clubs is equal to the level of teams from the tenth place in the Russian first division to the second place in the second division. There are 8 teams, 4 rounds. The important thing is that the club is run by purposeful people.
– Should we expect Russian football players in the team?
– Yes. There is no limit to the number of legionnaires in Armenia. Only the goalkeeper need not be a foreigner, and there is no restriction on the others.
