The guns spoke again in the Beaudottes district of Sevran (Seine-Saint-Denis). Sunday around 11:30 p.m., unknown persons shot a 17-year-old boy. The victim was in Champlain Lane when he was shot in the right calf. The young man indicated that he “had been awaited by two individuals hiding behind a low wall who fled on foot,” reports a source close to the investigation.

An explosion was indeed heard in the neighborhood, but no case was found at the scene of the attack. The investigation was entrusted to the departmental judicial police service of Seine-Saint-Denis (SDPJ 93). The hypothesis of a settling of scores against a background of drug trafficking is considered, even if the attack was not committed on a point of deal strictly speaking.

These shootings are in addition to a series of score-settling committed in recent months in this neighborhood where there is significant drug trafficking.

A little over a month ago, on Sunday September 10 at the same time, in Les Beaudottes, at the corner of Chemin de Savigny and Avenue Lumière, Adlen, 18, collapsed after being hit by two headshots. Two men had emerged from a thicket and attacked the victim from behind. The investigation, also followed by the SDPJ 93, seems to indicate that the teenager was not targeted by the shots.

Adlen could be a collateral victim of the settling of scores that is shaking the city. Last May, a 23-year-old man who was driving his car was injured by several shots in the upper body. On the passenger side, his mother was unharmed by the shooting. Two men on scooters were seen at the time of the shooting, and three explosions were heard.

Investigations continue. The link between these three cases has not yet been established.
