Shakib Khan’s next movie ‘Toofan’ will be released on Eid-ul-Azha, the production company said. However, in the meantime, allegations of violation of the law have been made against the production company of the movie.

Recently the teaser of the movie was released. The Bangladesh Film Censor Board has received a complaint that the teaser was shown in theaters without censor clearance. Censor Board Vice Chairman Khaleda Begum said this while talking to RisingBD.

Teaser of the movie ‘Toofan’ was shown at the 12 noon show yesterday at ‘Gulshan’ cinema hall in Narayanganj without the permission of Censor Board. Khaleda Begum told RisingBD that the matter has come to our attention, ‘We have heard about the teaser being shown without censors. Our inspector will go there. It is illegal to show movies without censor clearance. Apart from Narayanganj, we are also looking at whether it will go anywhere else. We have only three inspectors in whole Bangladesh. That’s why it’s difficult to watch in all theaters. Still we will take action where there is such illegal display.’

Directed by Raihan Rafi, ‘Toofan’ is a gangster story which will bring out the images of the 90s. The story of the movie proceeds with the story of a famous gangster of that time. It features Dhaka’s Masuma Rahman Nabila and Kolkata’s Mimi Chakraborty opposite Shakib Khan. Chanchal Chowdhury played a special role.
