Jean-Christophe Buisson, deputy director of the French “Le Figaro” periodical, referred to the 42nd General Conference of UNESCO, during which Azerbaijan was elected vice-president.

“UNESCO did not consider it expedient to condemn the 9-month blockade of Azerbaijanis, which would have been able to stop the ban on schooling of Armenian children. And now he elects Azerbaijan to the position of vice-president of his General Conference. Shame,” Buisson wrote on his X microblog.
