The exhibition focuses on century-old rare flower-viewing trees, focusing on representative spring flowers such as weeping plum, weeping cherry, wisteria, rhododendron, iris, rose, etc. It also introduces contemporary art sculptures to highly integrate “flowers” and “art” to build a unique artistic conception in the garden space where nature, art and people coexist harmoniously and are full of interest. 16 major theme attractions + 3 major art groups + 2 special markets, extending from early spring to late spring, let the spring spirit unfold in the park in stages. Entering the park at different times will provide different scenery, leading visitors into an immersive art environment that is visible, perceptible and meditative.
2026 Century Park Plum Blossom Garden Party

The plum blossom exhibition this time consists of the five major scenic spots of the Plum Garden and the “Three Friends of Suihan” small scenes. 2026 Umekawa Park Plum Blossom Exhibition

The theme of this flower show is “Plum plums welcome the new spring breeze into the arms”. It aims to combine the vitality of galloping horses with the elegance of plum blossoms heralding spring, symbolizing the New Year’s high spirits, triumphant spring breeze and contentment. Visitors encounter the romance of winter in the fragrant Meichuan Park, feel the vigorous and stubborn vitality, and learn about the noble and persevering character of plum blossoms.
“Shuangmei Yayun” Bonsai Exhibition in Guyi Garden

At the beginning of the New Year, Guyi Garden’s “Shuangmei Yayun” bonsai exhibition was officially launched in the bonsai garden, giving citizens and tourists a poetic New Year gift. Stepping into the bonsai garden, the plum blossom bonsai has either sparse shadows and slanting shadows, or twisted branches, with pink, white and bright red flower buds dotted all over the branches, showing the poetic elegance of “sparse shadows and slanting water, clear and shallow water”; wax plum bonsai embellishes the vigorous branches with bright yellow flowers, and the floating dark fragrance conveys perseverance and unyielding character.
New Year Citizen Daffodil Exhibition

This flower show is divided into two exhibition areas: “Darcissus for the New Year” and “Narcissus Sculpture Works”. Winner of 101 international awards and 24 Best Musical Awards, the original London West End musical “Matilda” returns to the Shanghai Grand Theater to embark on a journey of healing as a child. The play is adapted from the novel of the same name by Roald Dahl, a national writer in the British children’s literature world, and is produced by the Royal Shakespeare Company. It tells the story of a little girl, Matilda, who faces selfish parents and a rigid principal, and relies on courage and wisdom to create miracles and save herself and those around her.
Classical ballet “Giselle”

The Shanghai Ballet will perform the most extreme “light” and “shadow” of love for everyone – the classical ballet “Giselle”. Giselle, a simple and kind-hearted rural girl, fell in love with the passionate and funny nobleman Albert who was disguised as a farmer. Yushan Pu—Gu Ying’s world of poetry and painting

The exhibition takes the artistic spirit inherited by Gu Ying, a great literary figure in the late Yuan Dynasty, and his “Yushan Manuscripts” as the entry point, and shows the development of Jiangnan culture in the new era through 120 poetry and painting manuscripts by famous contemporary calligraphers and painters in the Yangtze River Delta region.
