/ Today, Tuesday, the Iraqi Olympic team will play its third friendly match in its training camp against the UAE Olympic team.
National team coach Radhi Shanishil told Agency: “The team is ready for today’s match, and it will be an important third match for the players, especially since the Iraqi Olympic team is facing a good team like the Emirati team.”
He stated that we will try, through today’s trial, to keep the team at the level of matches, and we will give the opportunity to new players to expand the team’s base.
He added, “Our goal is to create harmony and understanding among the ranks of the team’s players, witness good performance and level, and produce satisfactory results during the trial match that we are participating in today.”
The Iraqi Olympic team defeated its Egyptian counterpart with an unanswered goal last Saturday in a second trial match hosted by the Emirates Football Association Stadium in Dubai in preparation for the AFC U-23 Championship.
