School Badminton Championship Crowns New Champions Across Multiple Divisions

A spirited inter-house badminton championship recently concluded, showcasing impressive talent and competitive spirit among students. The event, featuring both singles and doubles categories across various age groups, highlighted the dedication of young athletes and fostered a sense of camaraderie within the school community.

The U-14 boys’ singles division saw Naksh Kumar, a Class VI student representing Bravery House, emerge victorious. He defeated Parv Kamboj, also of Class VI from Victory House, who secured second place. In the U-14 girls’ singles competition, Latika Bhargav of Class VII from Honesty House claimed the title, with Gurleen Kaur of Class VII from Bravery House finishing as the runner-up.

Doubles Domination: U-14 Teams Shine

The competitive energy extended to the doubles events. Samarth Dhiman and Japjeet Singh, both Class VI students from Wisdom House, triumphed in the U-14 boys’ doubles category, besting the Victory House duo of Aarav and Parv Kamboj. The U-14 girls’ doubles title was secured by Eknoor Kaur of Class VII and Himani of Class VI, both representing Honesty House. A strong performance from Asmita Dhiman of Class VI and Manvi Garg of Class VIII from Bravery House earned them the second-place position.

U-17 Boys’ Singles: A New Leader Emerges

Moving to the older age group, Amitoj Singh of Class IX from Honesty House secured the first position in the U-17 boys’ singles event. He demonstrated skill and determination, ultimately overcoming Abhijeet Singh of Class IX from Wisdom House, who earned a commendable second-place finish.

The championship served as a valuable platform for students to demonstrate their athletic abilities and sportsmanship, reinforcing the school’s commitment to holistic development.
