At least eight people died following the shooting that took place last night in a FedEx depot near Indianapolis International Airport: the police announced it. The victims were found in the shipping company’s depot, city police department spokeswoman Genae Cook said, adding that numerous other people (at least 9) were injured they were transported to local hospitals and some of them reached the hospitals on foot. The number of injured is not yet clear. The perpetrator of the shooting took his own life before being captured.

It was around 11pm (local time). The call to the police reporting gunshots came from the shipping company’s headquarters.
