FAIRFAX DISTRICT, LOS ANGELES (KABC) — A shooting incident occurred near The Grove shopping center in the Fairfax District, leaving one individual wounded and prompting an ongoing investigation by the police.

The incident took place at approximately 3:22 p.m. on Thursday in a parking lot near the intersection of The Grove Drive and Beverly Boulevard, as confirmed by the Los Angeles Police Department.

Video footage captured by AIR7 HD displayed a cordoned-off area with police tape right outside the Erewhon Market parking garage, indicating the crime scene.

Authorities have yet to determine whether the shooting took place on The Grove property itself or in close proximity. The events leading up to the incident also remain unknown.

According to investigators, the victim sustained at least one gunshot wound and managed to drive themselves to the hospital. The condition of the injured individual is currently undisclosed.

The suspect, described as an unidentified individual, fled the scene in a black Lamborghini, heading southbound on The Grove Drive. Despite a lack of specific details about the suspect, authorities note that he was seen wearing a white shirt paired with black pants.
