Short circuit in Plaza Mitikah leaves two injured

Two injuries were the result of a short circuit that occurred at the Plaza Mitikah facilities, located south of the Mexico City.

According to the report, the incident occurred around 10 in the morning on Tuesday, April 9. The short circuit was generated in an electrical cabinet, from which a flame was generated that reached the two victims.

The report was released by the CDMX fire department, who detailed that the injured were treated on site by paramedics.

In addition, they confirmed that the short circuit was caused by the electrical cabinet, which ended up releasing a series of flames around it.

The fire department indicated that the situation was controlled and those affected are not at any more serious risk.

It is unknown if what happened with the electrical cabinet affected the operation within the plaza, nor did the emergency services detail whether a general evacuation was carried out at the site.
