Shots rang out Thursday evening in Laval, in the Sainte-Rose sector. No one was injured, and no arrests were made.

The Laval Police Department (SPL) received a call at 8:34 p.m. concerning detonations on Grenier Street.

“When the police arrived on the scene, they discovered bullet holes on a home and on a vehicle,” said SPL spokeswoman Stéphanie Bechara.

A security perimeter has been erected. Investigators are on site, with forensic identity technicians and handlers.

An investigation is underway to clarify the circumstances of this event.
