The former Hope clinic, located on Kings Highway at the corner of Centenary Boulevard, was razed after remaining vacant as 2022 and being on the market for several years.

The company is led by Dr. Sunny Hussain, a gastroenterologist who also practices at Willis Knighton on E Bert Kouns Industrial Loop, as confirmed by WebMD. The Hope Clinic had served the region for decades, providing a range of reproductive health services, including abortion care, contraception, and wellness exams. Its closure left a notable gap in healthcare access for many Louisiana residents, particularly those in the shreveport area.
