India’s middle order batsman Shreyas Iyer has been selected for last month’s (February) Player of the Year award. He has overtaken United Arab Emirates’ Vrudia Arvind and Nepal’s Dipendra Singh to clinch the award.

The 27-year-old Shreyas has consistently scored runs in ODIs, the 20-over series and the 20-over series against Sri Lanka against the West Indies last month.
