jpnn.comPALEMBANG – Acting Governor of South Sumatra (Sumsel) Agus Fatoni is committed to the successful implementation of the 2024 simultaneous Regional Head Elections (Pilkada) in South Sumatra.
This commitment was realized by Acting Governor Agus Fatoni by signing the Regional Grant Agreement (NPHD) to secure the implementation of the Regional Elections, including the Election of the Governor and Deputy Governor of South Sumatra as well as the Election of the Regent and Deputy Regent (Pilbup), as well as the Election of the Mayor and Deputy Mayor (Pilwali) se -South Sumatra in 2024.
The signing event took place at Griya Agung, Palembang, South Sumatra, Tuesday (7/5).
“This activity shows our shared commitment, the solidarity of all provincial, district/city Forkopimda, KPU, Bawaslu as well as all vertical agencies and stakeholders in South Sumatra,” said Fatoni in his official statement, Wednesday (8/5).
According to Fatoni, joint commitment is very important in the success of the simultaneous regional elections on Bumi Sriwijaya.
This success has also been proven in the Presidential Election (Pilpres) and Legislative Election (Pileg) in February 2024.
“Thank God, all the democratic agendas, both the presidential and legislative elections, have gone well and smoothly, this is all thanks to our cooperation, solidarity and commitment together,” said Fatoni.
Fatoni further said that the financing for the implementation of the Pilkada came from the respective regional APBD.
