Silvia Pizzi, a Mediaset hair stylist famous for having worked on some of the company’s major programs and news programs, passed away on Friday after a short illness. She was 42 years old. The news was announced a few minutes later on social media by the hosts Gerry Scotti and Barbara d’Urso.
«And in the end you flew away… Enough suffering Silvietta», wrote Barbara d’Urso. «The many years together remain in my heart, in every program, every day. And how many brushes, how many hairdryers, how many curls, how many hairstyles… How many laughs… And, now, how much sadness.” Condolences also from Gerry Scotti: «Hi Silvia, you left us too soon. We will miss everything about you.”
The presenter Mara Venier, who worked with Pizzi for a long time, published a photo with her. Condolences also from the journalist Stefania Cavallaro. «I will cut their hair, Silvia – wrote Cavallaro -. And I know that from where you are, you will curse me for doing it too late. But you’re the one who left so damn early.”

The longest message was written by Alba Parietti: «Hi Silvia, it’s difficult to find the words to say goodbye. Television, our environment, was your family like mine. Behind the scenes, many people, the same ones for many years. Do you remember how much fun we had all these years? Every time I arrived at Mediaset I asked for you, partly because you were the best, partly because I enjoyed chatting with you. You were always smiling, you were home. Seeing each other in Cologno in those corridors was a habit, like when you arrive home and find a family member. Everyone will miss you, life is so unfair. With great melancholy, today, Sonia told me that you were no longer here, I will probably ask about you again and when I enter I will see you like many others because it is not right Silvia… I love you”.

The hair stylist was also remembered during today’s episode (Friday 22 March) of «Pomeriggio Cinque» on Canale 5 by the host Giuseppe Brindisi.
