Kadir (RJ Balaji) sees Sacha (Lal) who owns a shop called ‘Singapore Salon’ in Tenkasi and wants to become a hairstylist. After completing his studies, he opens a salon shop in Chennai by taking money and taking a loan from his father-in-law (Sathyaraj) to achieve his ambition. But, due to an unexpected twist, the shop is unable to open. The story of the film is that Balaji decides to commit suicide due to debt, then recovers from it and becomes successful.

The first half of the story, which starts from Tenkasi, is lively and moving briskly, which is a plus for the film. Director Gokul also takes some time to explain why Balaji wanted to become a hair stylist at a young age. He has presented the story of that period in a delicious way. A hair stylist job is not meant to be done by certain people; The director has perfectly used the social concept that anyone can do it.

‘Is studying engineering a clan job?’ The verse is Sulir. In between, environmental issues such as wetlands and birds are also included in the film. As a story of a young man who overcomes obstacles to achieve his childhood dream even after graduation, the movie is OK online. But the expectations that are built on the story in the first half lead to disappointment in the second half. A rain-induced twist adds interest to the story, but the subsequent scenes slow down the plot. Aravindsamy, who appears and disappears suddenly like a god, can predict what will happen next.

But when the hero is confused about how to get out of the problem and succeed, the logic is missing in the hero’s descent to achieve the goal of the slum youth who aspires to participate in the reality show. The main story is damaged by the visual settings that belie its success.

The hero of the film, RJ Balaji, fits the bill perfectly. He not only trusts in the power of comedy but also impresses with his performance at the required rate. Meenakshi Chowdhury is coming as the heroine. Satyaraj, who plays Balaji’s father-in-law, comes as a miser and the robberies in the film add strength to the plot.

Lal, a better actor, could have been used more. Robo Shankar enlivens his role. ‘Thalaivasal’ Vijay, John Vijay, , Y.G. Mahendran and others have played the role. Suresh Menon, Aravindsamy, Jeeva, Lokesh Kanagaraj also come and go in the film.

Vivek – Mervin – Javed Riash’s music has no great appeal. Cinematographer Sukumar’s camera captures Tenkasi and Chennai beautifully. Cinematographer Selva R.K. Could have put a knife. Singapore Salon would have shined if the screenplay had been edited beautifully.
