Jannik Sinner Defeats Novak Djokovic at Wimbledon
Jannik Sinner (Italy), the sixth seed, defeated Novak Djokovic (Serbia), the first seed, in the men’s singles semi-finals at Wimbledon (UK/London, turf, Grand Slam). Sinner won in straight sets: 6-3, 6-3, 6-4.
This victory marks Sinner’s first against Djokovic and secures his first appearance in the Wimbledon finals. It’s also his fifth final appearance across the four Grand Slam tournaments, reaching the final for the fifth consecutive year.
