28-year-old Siraj has played 15 Tests, 18 ODIs and 8 T20Is for the Indian team since 2017.
He has progressed to become the main bowler of the Indian ODI team from 2022 onwards. He is also the highest wicket-taker in Powerplay overs since 2022.
He took 24 wickets in 15 matches in 2022. Indian player who has taken most wickets in ODI cricket since 2022 – Siraj. Thus it can be said that Siraj’s place in the 2023 ODI World Cup has been confirmed.
