Six states and the DF declare a public health emergency because of dengue

Rio de Janeiro, Minas Gerais, Espírito Santo, Santa Catarina, Acre, Goiás and the Federal District have declared a public health emergency due to dengue, reports the Ministry of Health. To try to contain the spread of the disease, the federal government will undertake next Saturday (2) the ‘D-Day’ of national mobilization against dengue.
