Riyadh: Slight increase in the number of new Kovid victims in Saudi Arabia. According to the Ministry of Health, 126 new cases have been reported. The number of new Kovid patients has come down to less than 100 in the last few days. Of the patients currently being treated, 154 have recovered in the past 24 hours. One Kovid death was also newly reported.
The total number of Kovid cases reported so far in the country is 7,49,597 and the number of cases is 7,32,113. The total death toll in the country was 9,028. Currently, 8,456 people are being treated for Kovid disease. Of these, 212 are in critical condition. They are being treated in various hospitals’ intensive care units across the country.
The current Kovid release rate in Saudi Arabia is 97.67 percent and the mortality rate is 1.20 percent. Number of newly reported cases in major cities of the country: Riyadh – 32, Jeddah – 20, Madinah – 12, Makkah – 12, Dammam – 7, Twaif – 6. So far 6,23,19,469 doses of Kovid vaccine have been distributed in Saudi Arabia.
