The Genetics Laboratory of the Legal Medical Service of Santiago was added to the task of identifying corpses, to obtain DNA samples in more complex cases.

The Legal Medical Service (SML) reported on increase in fatalities identified after the forest fires in the Valparaíso Region.

Fires destroyed seven thousand homes

Along with this, the National Disaster Prevention and Response Service (Senapred) encrypted almost 7,000 homes destroyed after the forest fires.
