Kuwait: Intoxicating pills tried to be smuggled in postal parcels seized in Kuwait. The air customs department seized the drugs that were to be smuggled in three postal parcels. 900 Lyrica pills were seized from the first parcel, 300 grams of kratom from the second parcel and half a kilo of kratom from the third parcel.

Similarly, the authorities had also foiled an attempt to smuggle hashish into Kuwait the other day. Customs arrested the foreigner who brought hashish at Terminal 5 of Kuwait International Airport. Hashish was seized from him hidden inside an electronic scale. After the battery was replaced, the hashish was hidden in the form of a cigarette. He has been handed over to the Narcotics Control Unit for further legal action.
