Sony reveals the date of the launch of its new virtual reality glasses

Sony has announced the date on which it will launch the new PlayStation VR2 virtual reality headset, and the prices for copies of this headset.

According to the company’s website, the PlayStation VR2 will be launched for video game lovers starting February 22, and gamers can get the new Horizon Call of the Mountain game, which was designed specifically for these glasses, and charging units for PlayStation consoles will also be launched on this date.

According to Sony, the new glasses will differ significantly from its previous virtual reality glasses, as it will be compatible with various models of PlayStation platforms, and will also contain special technologies for tracking user eye movements, and spatial audio technologies.

The glasses will have internal screens with a resolution of (4040/2000) pixels, at a frequency of 120 hertz, and a viewing angle of 100 degrees, and will be equipped with an infrared camera.

The new PlayStation VR2 will also come with advanced sensors to sense user movements, and you will get USB-C ports, and Bluetooth 5.1 technologies for wireless pairing with other devices and ensuring fast data exchange, and their prices will range between 449.99 and 599.99 dollars, depending on the accessories that the user wants to obtain.
