Design of Sony WF-1000XM5 Earbuds:
We have got it in white colour. Its color gets dirty quickly. In such a situation, black color would be a good option. Type-C charging port and a button are provided at its rear. There is a small light on the front. It comes in pebble shape and its body texture comes in matte finish. Its design is quite compact. It is quite lightweight. Compared to the previous model, the design of its case has been slimmed. It comes with IPX4 rating which can protect it from some water.
How comfortable are these earbuds:
In this respect these earbuds disappointed. Its eartips are made from a lot of foam. Silicone eartips feel more comfortable than foam eartips. Additionally, these eartips are made from foam and they get dirty quickly with earwax. It is also very difficult to clean them. Also, if they are used continuously and then they are put back in the case, then its eartips become moist. To dry them one has to come out of the case.
For better fit, you can choose eartips of your size from the ones provided with it. It has SS, S, L size eartips. In my case the S size fit perfectly. These are quite comfortable. If the correct size eartips are used then the fit is amazing. These do not come out of the ears. But these remain visible outside the ear. In such a situation, they sound a little better when worn in the ears. However, whether you wear it in the gym or while jogging, it will not fall off.
Sound Quality:
The sound quality of Sony WF-1000XM5 earbuds is quite amazing. The company has also updated the drivers. Where the XM4s had 6mm drivers. At the same time, 8.4mm drivers have been provided in these earbuds. With this, the music experience is not doubled but tripled. Whether you listen to slow music or a song with high bass, the sound experience will remain the same. Every beat of the song will be heard. The aura of the song will not end at any point. The best thing is that whether it is a quiet or noisy place, you will get a good music experience in both the places.
Noise Cancellation:
This feature is amazing and it has been the USP of Sony. It has 6 microphones. Also there are 2 Sony V2 and QN2e processors. The company has claimed that these processors belong to the company and only Sony uses them. Its noise cancellation is quite good. It eliminates outside noise and gives a good music experience. Even if you are in a noisy place, you won’t hear any outside noise with this mode. One thing that is great with its ANC is that it does not create too much vacuum.
Apart from this, ambient sound mode has been provided with which the surrounding surrounds can be heard. But this doesn’t work very well because it looks quite unnatural. It has an Adaptive Sound Control feature which adjusts the ambient sound mode according to the activity. It can be used through Sony Headphones app.
Call Quality:
It has three microphones in each earbud. There are also dual feedback mics. There is more clarity in their video call quality than before. No matter how crowded the area is, you will get full clarity of voice calls. Bone conduction sensor is provided in it. Which recognizes when the user is talking. We also talked many times while driving. There was no impact on its call quality amid traffic jams. The best thing is that in this you get crystal clear voice which gives great experience during calls.
battery life:
The battery life of Sony WF-1000XM5 is quite strong. At least we liked it quite a bit. Its case takes about 1 hour to be fully charged. At the same time, if we talk about earbuds, it takes the same amount of time to charge them from 10 percent to full. At the same time, if Adaptive Sound Control and Speak to Chat are enabled then its battery life is about 7 to 8 hours.

The price of Sony WF-1000XM5 earbuds is Rs 24,990. In many cases, these earbuds are quite powerful. From its sound quality to active noise cancellation, it excels in every aspect. The price is a little high but if there is a music lover then this is a perfect option for him.
