Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the names that stood at the center of the last summer. The rumors all over Europe announced that the Portuguese star is demanding to leave Manchester United due to his desire to play in the Champions League and his name has been linked to countless teams across the continent. Ronaldo showed up late to the team’s training sessions, was not a participant in its preparatory match campaign and even now, with the red devils’ shocking start to the season, his name still does not leave the headlines.
One of CR7’s popular fan pages on Instagram reported yesterday (Tuesday) that the journalist Edo Aguirre, who is known to be a close friend of Ronaldo, addressed the reports surrounding the star and said that there was serious interest from Atletico Madrid and Diego Simeone, but they cannot confirm this because of the crowd’s reaction. In addition, he said that 5-6 teams submitted offers for the Portuguese and the rumors that he was offered to “half of Europe” are completely false.
Ronaldo is also tired of all these reports and he responded to a post from his official account: “In a few weeks I will be interviewed and you will all know the truth. The media tells lies. I wrote in a notebook with all the headlines from the last few months and out of every 100 of them, only five were correct. Imagine how it feels, think about it.”

Ronaldo’s future at Old Trafford is still unclear. As mentioned, he started the season with the team, but the reports in the Kingdom claim that Eric Ten Haah is open to hearing offers for him.
