Southco’s new R4-25 latch products meet customer requirements for electronic control and monitoring in demanding applications. The 12 volt actuator can trigger the latch with a signal from the customer control system or the Southco controller. The R4-25 pins pair well with Southco’s BluetoothTM controller for wireless operation. A built-in sensor will communicate when someone is blocking the door to indicate that the door is closed.

The R4-25 pins have a symmetrical design that allows them to be used in both right- and left-handed positions. This speeds up assembly and improves management. Additionally, an integrated cable holder eliminates the need to purchase or design a separate cable holder.
