The head of Roscosmos Dmitry Rogozin said that the launch of the Soyuz-2.1b carrier rocket from the Baikonur cosmodrome to launch the British OneWeb satellites into orbit has been postponed again for a day. The start is scheduled for 01:13 Moscow time on August 22. Initially, the rocket was supposed to launch on the night of August 20, then the program was postponed for a day.
According to him, this was done at the request of the customer himself “due to the unavailability of his ground-based measuring instruments.”
Rogozin noted that the rocket, upper stages and orbiters are now “in a stable and safe state,” and the launch complex is being prepared for launch.
