“Minister Sangiuliano did an encore”, explains chef Tino Vettorello. Difficult to cook them? “They have incredible strength, you have to act with care otherwise you risk getting hurt. It takes a lot of patience.” This year too, Tino Vettorello, chef of reference at the Venice International Film Festival, will lead the kitchens of the Terrazza Biennale by Campari, in front of the Red Carpet, and of the Palazzo del Casino restaurant for the fourteenth time. Over the years, George Clooney, Penelope Cruz, Michael Caine, Michelle Pfeiffer have sat at the Treviso chef’s table… just to name a few.

«The menu proposal is in the name of Venetian tradition, revisited in a contemporary key – says Chef Vettorello -. We offer guests the opportunity to taste dishes mainly based on fish from the Northern Adriatic, starting from the organic clams of Caorle up to the now well-known blue crab from the Lagoon”. The dish of this edition of Venezia 80 is “Nel Blu dipinto di Blu”, a black spaghetti with blue crab. “We’ve been consuming it for almost a year and during this period of time the price has tripled!”.
