Musician Igor Talkov, Jr., announced that he had received a summons as part of the mobilization. According to the 40-year-old artist, his mother told him about the paper, on the same day he stopped by her: “I can’t stand hiding, being afraid.”
The artist said that he met a district policeman at the house, and he joked that “Igor is probably already going to …” The singer replied that he did not need to get ready, because he had recently returned “from there.” Talkov explained that he had previously been to the Donbass, performed in military hospitals and military units, and “if necessary, I can go again right now.”
“Only, I say, no one will ever force me to pick up a weapon and go to kill, or at least even direct it at someone,” the musician added. “My weapon is music. That’s all.”
