Spike, the oldest dog in the world at the age of 23!

Spike is a 23-year-old Chihuahua mix from Ohio, USA.

It is listed in the Guinness World Records as the oldest dog in the world.

Spike was born in November 1999.

On 7th December last year, it was aged approx
Obtained certificate confirming 23 years.

Spike’s owner, Rita Kimball, told CNN that she found it in a supermarket parking lot in 2009.

Kimball takes him home when he learns that Spike has been there for 3 days in poor condition.

Kimball said that despite being a small dog weighing about 6 kilograms, its temperament is similar to that of a large dog.

Kimball said it survived each time other animals attacked it and came back even stronger.

According to Guinness World Records,
The oldest living dog in the world is called Bluey.

He passed away in 1939 in 29 years and 5 days.
