Lineup & Formation
For these upcoming performances, both Tim Finn and Neil Finn will be joined by core members Eddie Rayner and Noel Crombie. Rounding out the lineup are Matt Eccles (previously with Joji and Weyes Blood) on drums and James Milne, also known as Lawrence Arabia, on bass.
Formed in New Zealand in 1972 by Tim Finn and Phil Judd, Split Enz relocated to Australia three years later. The band is widely considered one of the most influential musical acts to emerge from the region in the last five decades. Neil Finn joined the group in 1977, and the band subsequently moved to London.
Split Enz disbanded in 1984, shortly after Tim Finn’s departure, with Neil Finn and drummer Paul Hester later forming the acclaimed band Crowded House. The band has enjoyed several reunions since their initial split, including successful tours in Australia in 2006 and 2008.
A Catalog of Hits
Split Enz boasts a rich catalog of beloved songs, including “I Got You,” “I See Red,” “Message To My Girl,” “History Never Repeats,” and “Six Months In A Leaky Boat.” Their fifth album, 1980’s ‘True Colours,’ marked their major breakthrough, achieving multi-platinum certification in Australia, New Zealand, and Canada.
The ‘Forever Enz’ tour promises to be a momentous occasion for fans, celebrating the enduring legacy of a band that has shaped the musical landscape for generations.
