Split up in Europe: Herzliya’s journey from Lithuania to Israel

by time news

Bnei Herzliya recorded a very important victory in the Champions League yesterday (Wednesday) at the expense of Ritas Vilna, but immediately after that the team got into an unpleasant situation, when they got stuck at the Vilna airport due to a snowstorm that prevented the flight to Israel.

Following the cancellation of the flight, the group split up throughout Europe in order to get to Israel as quickly as possible, in order to prepare in the best possible way for Hapoel Tel Aviv on Sunday.

The team’s players have already landed in Israel, while the training team is still in Helsinki waiting for its onward flight, approximately 36 hours after the end of the Champions League match.
