Coach Artur Jorge leaves the Sporting de Braga football team, with the Minho club making official this Wednesday the departure for the Brazilians from Botafogo, upon payment of two million euros.
“SC BRAGA – FUTEBOL, SAD, confirms the transfer of head coach Artur Jorge Torres Gomes Araújo Amorim to SAF BOTAFOGO for a guaranteed consideration of two million euros”, states the club on its official page.
In the same statement, the people from Braga specify that SAD will not incur any charges for intermediation services in the transfer and that the new coach and respective technical team “will be announced in due course”.

Artur Jorge, 52 years old, arrives at Botafogo, in what will be his first experience abroad, a few days before the start of the Brasileirão, with the first round on April 13th at Cruzeiro’s home, and at the start, and in the debut, this Wednesday, in the group stage of the Copa Libertadores, after passing the qualifying rounds.
