The National Center of Meteorology said that the eastern region is witnessing stability today, with a drop in temperatures, especially in the Jabal Akhdar areas, reaching 16 degrees, after a desert depression struck the region during Monday and Tuesday.
Center spokesman Mohieddin Ramadan confirmed in a statement to Al-Ahrar that the stability of the weather will continue during the next two days.
As for the southeast, the center expected it to be affected by cold air, with temperatures slightly lower than in recent days.
To the west, according to the center, cities and regions are witnessing a slight rise in temperatures, indicating that the weather will be cold tomorrow due to the northern winds, with temperatures reaching a maximum of 35 degrees Celsius in the southwestern regions.
The center expected that the country would witness a depression next week, with an impact starting from the west and then moving towards the east, with a slightly turbulent sea along the entire Libyan coast.
During Monday and Tuesday, the eastern region witnessed an air depression laden with dirt and dust, hitting the cities and regions of the Western Mountain, with temperatures rising to a maximum of 40 degrees Celsius, causing a decline in horizontal visibility on public roads.
