Stamatis Gardelis was in detention today – from where he “uploaded” videos on social media – due to a case related to a plot of land that the actor has bought.
Stamatis Gardelis posted on his Facebook account a video from the detention center he is in, in which he does not comment. Later, in his statements, he explained that he is being held in a police station in Aegaleo and explained what happened.
«I don’t see well. From the mental hospital, to the police station, to see where it will be next“, said the actor speaking on an ANT1 show. When asked why he is being detained, Stamatis Gardelis replied: “Because I am asking to know the truth and the questions seem to me to be very disturbing.”
Then explain what problem has occurred. “Today I had a forest map objection review committee. I insist on saying that my land is not forest. The person next to me is not a forester, the person next to me who is a prosecutor is not a forester, and the person next to me who has a business on the wave is not a forester. And I am a forester”, said Stamatis Gardelis.
“Two feet and two feet. I’ve been wiped out, I’ve been pushed to the limit by these things. Better here in the detention center. I can’t calm down. Hold me, it’s not possible. You won’t shut me up with anything. Fortunately, I also have a cell phone in here and I can talk. They have taken all my life, all my energy, all my money and they are coming to take my house. All these things have put me in a mental hospital“, the actor continued.
“I have come to owe 80-100,000 to the tax office for overdue debts, for a plot of land that I took, I bought, I arranged it, I am paying and now I am already being imprisoned,” he added.
Asked about what happened today, Stamatis Gardelis replied: “My file came to be examined and the president took it and said, “no, it will go to his turn”. Which series? After entering the mental hospital, I have medical reasons to run and lose sleep, this story must be solved. I became suicidal. It’s not possible, what order”.
Then, answering a related question, he said that the president asked for his detention because “I insisted on being tried today.” “I am waiting for the prosecutor’s decision to go on trial tomorrow. They also twisted my arm. In other words, mercy, hit us from above”, said Stamatis Gardelis, among others.
