Vancouver’s parks operations department reported that significant rainfall triggered the slide, consisting of mud, rocks, and vegetation. The affected area is between Prospect Point and Slhx̱í7elsh (Siwash) Rock. The Seawall is currently closed from Third Beach to the Lion’s Gate Bridge as crews evaluate the stability of the slope and work to remove the debris.
