The audio launch of Lal’s Dear Vapi was held yesterday at the Holiday Inn in Kochi. The film starring Anagha Narayanan and Niranj Maniyanpilla Raju of Lalum Mondaya Nigham fame is written and directed by Shaan Thulasidharan under the banner of Crown Films. The film is produced by R Muthiah Murali under the banner of Crown Films. After releasing the logo of Crown Films, the teaser of the film was also presented to the audience at the event. The function was also graced by the performance of Almaram band.
The event was colorful with the presence of famous celebrities. Lal, Maniyanpilla Raju, B Unnikrishnan, G Suresh Kumar, Kunchan, Jagadish, Sandra Thomas, B Rakesh, Ranjith Rajputra, Director Sethu, Kailas Menon, Niraj, Anagha, Guru Somasundaram, Nithya Maman, Sana Moithuti and others participated in the event. Lal appears as a tailor in the film. Other important actors are Maniyan Pillai Raju, Jagadish, Anu Sithara, Nirmal Palazhi, Sunil Sukhadha, Shivaji Guruvayur, Ranjit Shekhar, Abhiram, Neena Kurup, Balan Parakal, Muhammad, Jayakrishnan, Rashmi Boban Rakesh, Madhu, Srirekha (Vail fame) and Shashi Eranjikal. Dear Vapi is the life journey of ambitious Tyler Bashir and his model daughter Amira. Dear Vapi has been shot in Thalassery, Mahi, Mysore and Mumbai. Kailas Menon composes the music and lyrics are written by BK Harinarayanan and Manu Manjith. Pandikumar is doing the cinematography and Praveen Verma is doing the costume design.
Lijo Paul is doing the picture editing and MR Rajakrishnan is doing the sound mixing. The art direction is by Ajay Mangad and Rasheed Ahmed.
