Workers United, the organization that backs the Efforts to incorporate at Starbucks, Claimed in an application to the National Labor Relations Agency that the coffee shop chain had violated federal labor laws after closing a branch in Ithaca, New York. “Starbucks will not shy away from such actions that it takes against us,” said one of the employees at the store. “We will not give up – no matter what we have to do and how long it will take.”
A Starbucks powerhouse, which informed employees of the branch closure, said the company was seeking to negotiate with Workers United regarding the branch being closed.
